Caltech Lunchtime Lecture
On January 2017, I had the pleasure to visit Caltech’s campus in Pasadena, CA and deliver a lecture on my research focused on trafficking, technology, and data driven justice. Sponsored by the Caltech Feminist Club and Social Activism Speaker Series (SASS), the lecture provided a really amazing chance to connect with Caltech students, faculty, and staff interested in exploring how science in general and data in particular can be leveraged to address pressing social problems like trafficking. Thanks also to Tech Grrrl, who penned this write up about the talk.
Book Event 2.0
It was lovely to share the stage with Leslie Wang to discuss our books. I am grateful to the staff at Chevalier’s Books for organizing the event and to all of the folks who came out to attend.
